Food Safety & Security Foundation
Take the Lead in Food Safety and Security
At the Food Safety & Security Foundation (FSSF), we believe that access to safe food is a fundamental human right. Yet, each year nearly 600 million people suffer from unsafe food, with consequences ranging from illness to severe economic burdens and loss of life. Our mission is clear: to support academics, educators, legal professionals, and experts in food safety in their efforts to improve food safety and security across borders.
Why is Food Safety Important?
Unsafe food poses a threat to public health and undermines the economic development and social stability of communities. By addressing the current challenges in food safety and security, we can create a healthier society, promote economic growth, and foster global sustainability.
FSSF stands for practical support, based on science and facts
At FSSF, we choose a practical and proven approach. With the funds we raise, we only support projects based on scientific facts and aimed at improving food safety and security for children, teenagers, and adults who are most at risk of preventable food poisoning. Your financial contributions support non-political, independent non-profit organizations that provide one or more of the following solutions to food safety and security shortages:
